Bella Creative started from humble roots and continues to build on 14 years of community connection
Bella Creative may be a new chapter, but its story began 14 years ago under the small yet ambitious organization Bella Love. What started as a simple dream by founders Case Warnemunde and Jessica Boye was brought to life with the very first street festival—an intimate gathering of a few vendors, fire eaters, break dancers, and local musicians performing on a small stage. This grassroots effort sparked something much larger than anyone could have imagined.
Over the years, that initial dream has grown into a thriving series of community-centered events. Today, Bella Creative is known for organizing premiere festivals like the ‘Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival and the beloved Christmas in Cornelius. With the help of a small but dedicated team, incredible volunteers, and invaluable community support, these events have offered free, high-quality entertainment, empowering and uniting the community in ways that resonate far beyond the festival grounds.
As we look ahead, Bella Creative is proud to carry this legacy forward. With 14 years of experience and connection behind us, we are poised to dream bigger and grow further, continuing to foster creativity, culture, and connection in the heart of our community in Cornelius N.C. and beyond.
2025 Event Schedule
A early look at what events we are already working to bring to the community. Working with OTC we at Bella Creative make sure these festivals and events are branded and marketed with the same energy this town brings into them.
• 'Tawba Walk Arts and Music Festival - Our biggest festival of the year brings a
lot of fun to the community, - April 26 (Spring) and September 27th (Fall)
• 2nd Friday Street Festival Series - Every second Friday from May to Oct.
Highlights include our very popular "Kids Fest" theme and wrapping it up with
our very own "Oktoberfest"
• Halloween in Old Town
• Food Truck Invitational
• Christmas in Cornelius
